Happy New Year 2018!

Welcome back to Frank H. Hammond Elementary School!

As the new principal of FHH,  I am excited to lead our already excellent school and staff to greater achievements.  Student success is our #1 priority while fostering the growth of your whole child, socially, emotionally and academically.  Our mission is to develop strong relationships with families and community, so that all of our students will be motivated and empowered to achieve their personal best.

We work everyday to improve instruction through analysis of data and effective strategies using research based strategies such as Daily Five, 6 + 1 Writing Traits, and Inquiry Math. We work through differentiated instruction that addresses the individual needs of our students. And our students work using higher level thinking skills and applied conceptual learning each day.

Please take an active role in your child’s education.  You are always welcome at Frank H. Hammond through volunteering and through our very supportive PTO.  Keep connected at FHH by checking PowerParent regarding your child’s grades, look for classroom information regularly, and be sure to connect yourself to our school news through email and social media!

Snow pants and snow coat
Snow boots (boots that are insulated and water resistant to keep their feet dry, no UGGs, etc.)

This is an OPTIONAL outdoor activity; therefore it is not required that all students have the above items.  Only students who wish to play in the snow need to bring these items to recess.  Black top area will be plowed for outdoor recess in the winter/snow.
